How They Met

Barb and Jason first met in October 2018 through mutual friends at a bar that Jason owned in Gainesville named Eclipse.  Barb remembers thinking that Jason was cute and a little shy when they first met. Jason remembers thinking that Barb was beautiful, smart, and easy to talk to.  After that meeting Jason decided to ask Barb out for the first time by sending her a private message on Facebook asking her to go on a cruise with him.  She was very flattered but responded with a resounding no . . . multiple times. However she thanked him very much for asking.  Jason saw Barb in person a week later and asked again.  Barb again thanked him and suggested that maybe they could go out on a dinner date.  They did go on that dinner date, and many other dates in the next couples of weeks.  Barb eventually said yes to the cruise and she and Jason had a GREAT time on the trip!  After that, Jason & Barb became inseparable. 

How They Asked

As fate would have it they eventually fell in love, and a little over a year later, while on a trip to Aruba, Jason proposed to Barb in front of all of their friends.  Timing is everything and destiny is patient. The rest, as they say, is history!
