How did you meet?
We met on the dating app, Bumble. I said “hey” and the rest is history! We met that same night and went to a local Tapas bar and were officially dating 2 weeks later.
How did they ask?
Bryan asked me to marry him on the 4th of July on our rooftop among fireworks and in the presence of his mother. It was a complete surprise!
When did you know they were ‘the one’?
I feel that we both knew really early on, even if we didn’t admit it. Once we met, we were pretty much together ever since.
How long were you all together before tying the knot?
3.5 years.
What made you decide to book the Osprey’s?
We just fell in love with the trees, the river, the pergola, the bar room, and the willow tree! It was the perfect combination of classy and sweet.
How did you choose your other wedding vendors?
I mainly used the internet to find our vendors, and a friend suggested our florals. The osprey’s recommended our caterer.
What was your favorite part of the planning process? What was your least favorite part of the planning process?
My favorite part was probably planning my and my bridesmaid’s dresses and overall look. I also really liked seeing my vision come to life with the florals. My least favorite part was easily the fact that I didn’t know how many guests we could invite until 2 weeks before the wedding! #covidwedding
What was the theme or vibe you were trying to achieve on your wedding day?
Gatsby x summer romance
Tell us about your dress shopping journey/tux?
I knew what I wanted when I went dress shopping. It was the second dress I tried on and it was perfect! The price sealed the deal for me.
What inspired you to pick the florals for your bouquet?
I love lavender, white roses, and succulents, and the florist really delivered! I got to keep all the succulents used at the wedding, and I pressed some of my flowers which are displayed in a glass frame on my wall.
What was the one moment from your wedding day that stands out the most?
The vows. I just couldn’t wait to marry my husband, and the ceremony went perfectly.
Tell us what inspired your ceremony design?
We just wanted to expand on the beauty of the venue, so we just adorned flowers on the pergola, and had rose petals on the aisle. It wasn’t too hard!
How did you decide on the attire for your wedding party?
I chose lavender dresses for my ladies, and my husband chose black tuxes for his men.
Tell us about why you chose your first dance song?
Our first dance song was “Beyond” by Leon Bridges, which was a special song early in our relationship, as the lyrics state how the singer views his lady as someone who could one day be his wife. We have also seen him in concert, and hired a dance coach to learn some good moves!
Now that it is over what would you change or do differently if you could? Why?
I would have taken more pictures with the photographer of me and my family, I would have had the ceremony recorded, and I would have asked that people be directed towards our photobooth.
What’s next for the new Mr & Mrs?
Enjoying life! We had an amazing honeymoon in Barcelona, Ibiza, and Paris, and are now focused on saving money to buy a house and a puppy to join us and our cat
